About the event

The 2022 Humanitarian Awards is a Create Impact™ 501(c)3 Activation. We work to empower a Global Community of Nonprofits and Socially Conscious Entrepreneurs by acting as a Fiscal Sponsor and Trusted Partner for Organizations. By joining us, you are:

  • Helping Canine Companions provide service dogs to veterans with PTSD and children with autism spectrum disorder to live a life full of achievement and self-esteem, and;
  • Helping Cast Member Pantry provide groceries and other food essentials to families who are struggling with financial hardship, and;
  • Helping Entertainment For Change empower young creatives to use their art for good, and to be leaders and changemakers - to be young Impact Artists™.

The evening will creatively mix a magical, experiential, and immersive celebration of humanity featuring: 

  • Beneficiary Spotlights
  • a VIP Champagne Reception
  • Food & Drinks
  • Red Carpet Photo Ops and Interviews
  • Live Musical Performances
  • Social Impact Presentations
  • a Humanitarian Awards Ceremony presented by Be Great!,
  • and an epic After-party featuring Maty Noyes.

Create Impact™ is also launching our USE YOUR BOTTLE, CHANGE OUR WORLD social impact campaign with support from the United Nations Development Programme. Our mission is to Activate the Public in a FUN and uniquely empowering way with a SOLUTION BASED APPROACH to reducing individual plastic use, including free SDG bottle giveaways at our event and in communities around the country.

The event is hosted by Dr. Greg S. Reid (Author, Speaker & Founder of Secret Knock), who will help us honor and celebrate outstanding individuals and organizations creating a positive impact on society and who encourage all of us to Be Great!  And in celebration of Disney100 - the 100th Anniversary of the Walt Disney Company - special guests include a reunited cast of The ‘All New’ Mickey Mouse Club who will be featured at D23 Fan Expo* earlier in the day. Be Great!'s 2021 Humanitarian Awards were presented at Walt Disney World Resort and honored Jeff Hoffman (Global Entrepreneur, Priceline.com, Ubid.com), Sir James Dentley (Founder, JD3TV), Pamela Landwirth (CEO, Give Kids The World Village), and Kellen Jackley (Former Wish Kid & Child Ambassador, GKTW), among others.

2022’s honorees will include Dr. Khalilah Ali (Founder of Ali's Global Foundation), Ever Matson (Founder of Child Hunger Sucks), Karl Kani (Legendary Designer), Gavin Keilly (GBK Brand), Cyndi Romine (Founder, Called To Rescue), and Leigh Steinberg (Founder of Steinberg Sports & Entertainment) who has raised over 1 billion dollars for charity, among many other extraordinary humanitarians.
